Guinness World Record
The Great British Duck Race currently holds the World Record for the largest
charity duck race in the world. In 2007 we raced 165,000 yellow plastic
ducks!
Why stop there!! Our target for 2008 is 250,000 ducks - yes, that's right,
a quarter of a million ducks floating down the river Thames.
By racing such a huge number of ducks, we are attempting
something no on else has tried before, and by increasing the numbers we hope
to raise lots more money for our benefiting charities.
The race is registered as an official Guinness World Record attempt. A
Guinness adjudicator will be present on the day to verify numbers, course
length etc and we are confident that we will smash our own record.
Have you always wanted to be a record breaker? Well know is your chance -
just adopt a duck and you can be part of a record breaking event.
