The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation – DRWF - is a young national charity, established in the UK in 1998 to fund vital research into diabetes and provide support to people living with the condition. Together with sister organisations in the USA and Europe, DRWF (UK) also provides advice and assistance to people with diabetes in a fresh and innovative way.

DRWF has three distinct aims: to finance vital research into diabetes, to support people with diabetes through the Diabetes Wellness Network and to raise public awareness to this increasingly prevalent condition.

DRWF funds research conducted within the United Kingdom into the causes, complications and cures of diabetes. We continue to develop an ever-expanding grants award programme and to-date have committed nearly £5 million to diabetes research.
